28 Weeks!

I feel like I am on the stretch toward delivery! Only 12 weeks left, and honestly, I don't think I will go that far! This baby should be out at the end of March, mark my word... :-) I had my 28 wk appt. on Wed and I am at 151.6 lbs, about 16 lbs heavier than when I became pregnant. My dr said everything was perfect. Kaeden's heartrate was 155bpm, which is normal for him. As Dr. King was feeling around, he was like, "Wow, your baby is tiny!" I took that as abnormal and he retracted and said he meant that the baby was tiny compared to my larger than normal bag of waters and that the baby seemed the right size for his age. Well there ya go, that explains this big ol belly! After answering all my questions, he even removed a small ingrown toenail! A doc of all trades. I got my rhogam shot and now we are ready for the next appt, 32 weeks, which we will hopefully have an ultrasound and see if the baby is head first.... I have been having Braxton Hicks for the last 2 weeks or so, which I never had with Savana so at first I didn't know what was going on! My tummy tightens all up and gets so hard and uncomfortable... that happens about 5 times a day!

The next item on the agenda is to tell about that small baby shower that Kyle's ward (7D in Wilford Hall) put on for us and one other expecting couple. They ordered Chinese for everyone and someone made a HUGE cake which was really nice. We received some Target gift cards, onesies, diapers, clothes, towels, blankets, and lots of other necessities that will be less on my list to buy now... I think Kyle had more fun than I did, check out his face in these pics....

24 weeks!

Well, it seems to be going a little quicker now! Now that I am working about 39-42 hours a week, my days seem to fly by! We did pick out a name, which I really like.. His name is Kaeden Isaiah Perry. Savana is excited about it, as she really likes the name! Somedays he moves non-stop, and others just every so often, he isn't very predictable! He seems to have liked to have settled more on my right side, Kyle says he can see a lump sometime, and that happens to be when i feel the movement over there... I have definitely been gaining weight, I am now at 150, so I have gained 15 lbs... I hear your 2nd trimester is when you gain the most, so hopfefully, I wont gain too much more! My 24 week apt is on Monday so I will post the heartrate and anything else interesting then! Until now, here are the most recent photos!

20 weeks, 2 days!

Hey, sorry I am a day late... Both Kyle and I worked different schedules yesterday so there wasn't a single minute in the day that we were both home to take some pics.. so here we go! Let me start by saying, there is a fiesty little boy inside! On the ultrasound that was Wed, Nov 19, the ultrasound tech, Judy, showed us that he was balling up his fists and punching at the air... It was quite humerous! :-) So, I am pretty sure that any time I feel the "kicks" they are actually punches b/c they are down where his hands are! Anyway, I got on the scale yesterday and actually weighed 142.5 lbs... Yep, halfway through the pregnancy and have gained 7.5 lbs so far... but it shows! His little heartrate slowed a little, it was 145bpm. People ask me if I am sure I am not having twins.. Other than carrying him a little lower, it seems to be all baby, just like Savana was. I am going to add a back shot too... Oh and Kyle and I are discussing names, but we haven't decided on anything and don't seem to be anywhere near close to agreeing on anything just yet.. well, we have about 19 weeks left....

16 Weeks!

Holy flippin' cow! Just last week, I wasn't showing very much and then overnight, I grew a belly! I am only 16 weeks, so I have 24 more left and already I look HUGE! I haven't gained any weight anywhere else, thank goodness, and I currently weigh 136. Thanks to my best friend, Tiffany, being here this last week, I think I have eaten the most healthy that I have ever eaten in one week! (I don't eat badly, but sometimes get out of whack..) I have felt the quickining ( baby flutters), but no actual kicks yet. I guess now, we are just waiting on Nov 19, the day of the gender ultrasound! My doctor, Dr. King, was kinda suprised when he saw how big I was, just since the last 4 weeks since I have seen him! I love being pregnant!! Ok, so until 20 weeks...................

14 weeks, my 2nd trimester!

Wow, 1/3 of the way through! Only 26 weeks left! I took pictures so I could know what I looked like at the end of my 1st trimester. Still look the same to me, and still weigh the same, 133.5 lbs. Hopefully, before too long, I will be feeling the little booger kick (b/c I know it's active from that last ultrasound). I have my next appt. on Oct 21, in which I will make my appt to find out the gender! I can't wait for that! I know, you can't either!! Well, here are a couple of pics!

12 weeks!

Ok so today I hit 12 weeks! Only 28 more! :-) I currently weigh 134 lbs. A couple of nights ago after I had just gotten out of the shower, Kyle actually said, "You're starting to get a belly!" I was kinda glad b/c before that, he always thought I was just sticking it out to "look" pregnant! Also, this morning, I was reclined on the couch and I felt a little "flutter" (I say flutter b/c I don't know really how to explain how it felt) near the top of my pelvic bone. I put my hand over the top of where I thought I felt it and about 2 seconds later, I felt a really something really hard. It was there about 4 seconds and then just disappeared! I don't know what in the heck it was, but all I could think was, "I felt the babies heel, knee, elbow, or something!" Even though Kyle wasn't awake yet, he says no, it was probably a muscle spasm... Well, I have never had a spasm like that, it would be a first.. I don't know if I could have felt the baby this early, but it IS my 2nd pregnancy and they say things DO happen quicker... Anyway, here are the pics!
